Election elation for Nicolas Simons

Here on the Sunshine Coast, life is somewhat the same as before the May 14 provincial election. There are those of us who would have preferred to have a reprentative in government, and there are those who are content with Nicolas Simons, the NDP candidate who continues as MLA, yet again.

Everybody likes Nicolas Simons, no question. In fact he is such a great guy, that one has to wonder why the NDP would have choosen looser Adrian Dix to blow the election for them.

So, let's get Nicolas Simons on the roster for leader of the opposition as soon as possible, to give the Sunshine Coast an opportunity to have representation in Victoria.

I may have to encourage my NDP friends to push for Nicolas for Premier, in 2017. Wanna help?

A bit weird.

Not quite the way I had imagined my May starting this year, but perhaps it is better to have some surprises and rise to the occasion rather than be stuck in a rut.

The election in BC is turning around, and NDP will probably self distruct before May 14th.

My brother has been admitted to the hospital, and we are waiting for results. My mom is dealing with end of life issues for her spouse of 47 years, and the weather is finally turning sunny.

My friend, Dave Young has inspired me to write a daily blog, which I am dong now, and I watched a great 15 minute video on Vimeo called Juggle & Cut. Check it out.

So, it's not like life is peachy keen and everything is packaged neatly in uniform rows on a shelf, but it is damned interesting.

Now to watch the next episode of Glee and shed a few tears for characters I don't know personally.

I know. It's just a bit weird.
